Among the most serene and secluded of the Hawaiian Islands is lovely Lanai’s. For a vacation laden with spectacular scenery in peaceful yet provocative surroundings, Lanai’s is mystical.

PUU NENE-2, 755 feet, the second largest point of elevation on Lanai.

Molokai is a quiet island that offers a unique introduction to the gentle rhythms of South Seas life. Kaunakakai, the main town on Molokai, is famed in song for its "cockeyed Mayor." True adventurers hike a twisting trail up verdant Halawa Valley to splash in the healing pools at the foot of Moaula Falls. Molokai's thickly forested backcountry intrigues the huntsman with a variety of game, while isolated and unfrequented beaches and reefs delight skin-divers.

FATHER DAMIEN'S STATUE-built in memory of Father Damien de Vuester whose missionary work among the victims of Hansen’s disease; this statue stands in a grassy glade on the isolated Kalaupapa Peninsula; FIRST CATHOLIC CHURCH-near Mapulehu on Molokai's north shore, HALAWA VALLEY- locale of ancient heiaus and two plunging waterfalls: Moaula Falls and Hipuapua Falls. KAMAKOU-4, 970 feet, the highest elevation on the island of Molokai. KAPUIWA GROVE: has more than 1,000 coconut trees; KAWELA CITY OF REFUGE-is 200 feet up ridge separating two gulches. MOAULA FALLS; O NE ALII PARK-country beach park equipped with restroom facilities, outdoor shower, grills and picnic tables; PAKUI HEIAU-a former human sacrifice heiau (temple); PALAAU PARK-a state park overlooking Kalaupapa Peninsula, PUKUHIWA BATTLEGROUND; PUU NANA-1, 381 feet, on a clear day the capital island Oahu can be seen across Kaiwi Channel, besides spectacular sunsets; SMITH & BRONTE LANDING etc.

The Big Island of Hawaii, nearly twice the size of all the other Hawaiian Islands combined, is home to the awe-inspiring twin volcanic peaks of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea- each almost 14,000 feet high. Of the islands many volcanoes, Kilauea and Mauna Loa, famous for their flowing rivers of lava, are among Hawaii's greatest tourist attractions. Orchids and tulips abound, and along the western shore lay the shimmering black sand beaches of the Kona Coast, known for the best deep-sea fishing in the world. And on the western side's Kohala Coast, outstanding resorts offer a vacation paradise.

AKAKA FALLS-north of Hilo plunges over 420 feet in a sheer drop over a volcanic cliff. BLACK SAND BEACHES-of Kaimu and Punaluu, made up of pulverized lava, are on the south-eastern shoreline; CAPTAIN COOK MONUMENT-at Kealakekua Bay; HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK-one of the top attractions in the Aloha State, HULIHEE PALACE-in the village of Kailua-Kona; LAPAKAHI STATE HISTORICAL PARK-north of Kawaihae; LAUPAHOEHOE is one of the Hamakua Coast's many scenic and historic spots. LYMAN MISSION HOUSE AND MUSEUM-in the city of Hilo; PAINTED CHURCHES-at Honaunau, St. Benedict's; PARKER RANCH-in the Waimea-Kamuela district; POLOLU VALLEY-in Kohal, PU'UHONUA O HONAUNAU -a National Historical Park, RAINBOW FALLS-one of the Big Island's loveliest waterfalls, is located in Hilo. WHITE SANDS BEACHES-at Hapuna State Beach Park, Anaehoomalu Beach, and Magic Sands Beach, Kailua, all on the western side of the island.
