The house, dating from 1854, sits in 91 secluded acres of rolling hills with olive, almond and carob groves and was originally an olive mill. The original stones and press are still intact and are an integral part of the home.
The ground floor consists of four main rooms. The mill which is a large airy room, is often used for table-tennis. There is a large sitting-room (satellite TV,DVD) with large comfortable sofas and a fireplace. There is also a guest bedroom on the ground floor with 3 beds, suitable for children and with its own bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an open fireplace, ideal for grilling.
Upstairs there are 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The main house is surrounded by large terraces with shaded pergolas.
The large pool (8x11m)in the upper garden has views to the sea. The pool house has a kitchen WC and shower. |

The nearest supermarket is less than a 10 minute drive and a major shopping mall a further 5 minutes distant. Also close by is the famous botanical garden La Concepcion The estate is ideally situated for easy access to Granada Cordoba and Seville all of which are reachable as a day trip.The Torcal National Park, with its extraordinary rock formations is just to the north.
Being so very close to Malaga, you will be able to enjoy the huge range of restaurants and shops in the old centre, which despite being on Europe's most popular tourist coast, has retained its very Spanish character. |
