| Those two brand new villas have been built with respect to the environment. They are built at the edge of the village Akourdalia, harmonically combining old and new elements. Each villa is independent. They offer rectangular shape swimming pools placed alongside the covered veranda with a beautiful view to the valley and the sea. It is a unique experience to enjoy the swimming pool and the serenity of the place, the sun and the sea or the mountain and the nature. Their location is unique since they are at the edge of the mountain while below the valley of Polis tis Chrysochous spreads to the sea. Built in the heart of the countryside surrounded by unique vegetation characteristics of the area, they offer uninterrupted views all around. Each villa has a paved yard, lawn trees and gardens with seasonal flowers. Consideration has been taken for people with special needs offering all necessary amenities inside as well as outside (swimming-pool and gardens) for the best possible and safe stay for every guest.
Area Description:
Just up the road from Miliou, off the Paphos to Polis road, you’ll come to the picturesque village of Akourdalia, or Kato Akourdalia to be more precise, as like many villages in Cyprus, Akourdalia is a village of two halves, with Pano Akourdalia being just a few minutes further up the road. Both villages have a population of about 50. The name Akourdalia is said to be taken from the local dialect for wild garlic which grows in abundance in the surrounding fields.
In amongst the traditionally-styled whitewashed houses nestling between almond trees, there is a small coffee shop in Kato Akourdalia. You’ll also find what used to be the village manor house, which has a rich history dating back over a hundred years. The building has since been renovated and converted into a group of self-catering suites for holidaymakers with a restaurant downstairs offering traditional Cypriot cuisine. |
