| The property sits in an acre of garden and is a short distance from the historic village of Verteuil-sur-Charente, in the sunny department of Charente.
The cottages are either side of the owner's house, which is situated at the rear of the building. There is an above ground pool in the large garden for a refreshing dip on those long, hot summer days.

| SUNRISE COTTAGE faces south with an eastern aspect on the side. It has a patio and terrace area with garden furniture and a barbeque. Rise early to catch the wonderful sunrises.
Downstairs is a lounge/diner with comfy seating, an original Charentaise stone fireplace with a woodburner and a large farmhouse table with seating for 5 people. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine. The shower room has shower, loo and wash basin. A baby bath can be provided if needed.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms - double & twin + fold up bed to use in either bedroom. There is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a hairdrier is provided.
Outside is a large garden with an above ground pool for occupants of both cottages to use. There are a number of bicycles available to use. The property is in a quiet rural position with quiet lanes around it, which are ideal for cycling and walking.
The cottage has a selection of books, DVDs, videos and games for your entertainment. There is unlimited Wifi broadband access and English satellite TV. |

You can fish, canoe or swim in the River Charente just a few couple of miles from the property. For days out we are ideally situated to visit Angouleme, Poitiers, Futuroscope, Limoges, Cognac, Bordeaux, La Rochelle and the west coast sandy beaches. The area has many places of historical interest including Roman amphitheatres, chateaux and museums and galleries. There is plenty to do for all ages |
