| EL SEQUER is a charming Spanish country holiday cottage offering superior self-catering accommodation for 2 – 4 people. Originally a 19thC finca or farm building, formerly used for producing raisins, it has been faithfully restored as an enchanting holiday home that is perfect as a romantic retreat for couples, small families or those seeking quiet and relaxation or outdoor activity holidays. Located on the outskirts of Benimeli, halfway between the coastal resorts of Denia & Javea and the famous Jalón valley, El Sequer offers the best of two worlds; the tranquillity of a rural setting yet easy access to the Costa Blanca’s fine sandy beaches (5 miles), and other areas providing a wide range of outdoor or cultural activities. Jenny and Oswaldo, (English and Spanish owners) will personally meet & greet you with welcome basket and amenities, and are at your disposal for any information you may require during your stay. |

| The self-catering holiday cottage El Sequer, a former 19thC Spanish finca or riu-rau, has been faithfully restored conserving original architectural features such as bamboo cane ceilings, wooden beams and terracotta floors. Tastefully decorated combining rustic details and Mediterranean colours, comfortably furnished and equipped to high standards, it accomodates up to 4 people in two double bedrooms: “Segaria” with its king-size antique bed, and “Rectoria” with twin beds, both overlooking the garden and pool. There is one full bathroom with a whirlpool bath. A spacious and cosy living- dining room with sofas, fireplace, and TV/DVD; CD/radio player, is separated from the open-plan kitchen by the original well. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and other electrical appliances. Cutlery, glassware and flatware is also provided. The cottage has central heating and air-conditioning. An adjoining utility room stores the washing machine, iron and board, two mountain bikes, child’s cot and garden and pool furniture.. Quality bed and bath linen is provided excepting beach towels.
Outdoors, the shady porch running the length of the cottage, ideal for al-fresco meals, enjoys breathtaking views of the lush valley and surrounding mountains. The secluded, enclosed garden and orange grove with private swimming pool , adjoining barbecue area and private parking lot, completes this unique holiday retreat where tranquillity and relaxation are assured. |
