| Xaymaca is a unique Spanish country holiday home, dating back to the late 19th C, that has been exquisitely reformed to offer superior self catering accommodation for up to 8 people. This luxury countryside villa has 4 double en-suite bedrooms and spacious living areas, decorated and equipped to high standards for maximum comfort. Outdoors, there is open-air courtyard, garden, large private swimming pool, porch, barbecue and fruit orchard overlooking the valley. Located on the outskirts of Benimeli, a small village halfway between the coastal resorts of Denia & Javea and the famous Jalón valley, Xaymaca offers the best of two worlds; tranquillity in a rural setting yet easy access to the Costa Blanca’s fine sandy beaches (5 miles), and other areas with outdoor or cultural activities. Jenny and Oswaldo, the owners, will personally meet you with welcome basket and amenities, and provide you with any information you may require during your stay. |

| Saddled between village and countryside, Xaymaca stands out from the standard offer of other holiday villas. Formerly a “stately” country-village house, it has been magnificently restored, maintaining many original features like high beamed ceilings and stone walls. Spacious living areas and warm colours blend with antique, rustic and contemporary furnishings to create an homely atmosphere where quality is the trademark.
Original wooden doors lead from the house’s private parking area into a walled courtyard with a fountain surrounded by plants and flowers, an ideal spot for alfresco meals. French doors open onto a spacious and sunny lounge with comfortable sofas, and a TV/video/DVD and music area, where bookshelves offer a wide selection of books, videos and board games. The rustic styled kitchen is fully equippped with all modern appliances to meet most culinary needs. An open archway connects the kitchen with another cosy living-room and adjoining dining room seating 10 people, next to the entrance hall where impressive wooden doors lead outdoors to the village. Both lounges have wood burning stoves.
Upstairs there are four ample double en-suite bedrooms. Two master bedrooms have king sized beds and share a secluded terrace with mountain views. The other two have twin beds and overlook the village. All bedrooms and bathrooms are individually decorated and furnished to the highest standards with a careful selection of quality bed and bath linen. The house has a central heating system, air-conditioning units in all bedrooms and complies with current fire-protection standards. ADSL internet access, cots & highchair are provided.
Outdoors there is ample space between the garden, pool, porch, fruit orchard and barbecue area. Surrounded by citrus groves, with panoramic views of the valley and nearby mountains, this unique holiday rental home is the perfect spot for both relaxing or activity packed holidays with family or a group of friends. |
